June : Cow Tower field trip
|
An excellent evening with our friend Colin Howey who showed us around the Bishops Bridge / Cow Tower area and we had a fascinating time discussing various aspects of Norwich history.
We started at the Red Lion pub, had a walk to Cow Tower and then passed over Bishops Bridge to spend the rest of the evening in Lollards Pit pub, which incidentally, has an excellent
outdoor smoking shelter.

On 5th March 2019, the secretary went to the newly-opened Turmeaus shop in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
A smoker's paradise!
Extensive selection of pipes, pipe tobaccoes, cigars and spirits. Plus the luxury of a really nice and comfortable smoking lounge in which sample the goods!
The building was once a pub called 'The Ship'. The shop entrance is at the rear of the building in Howard Street S.
